Tom Carlson has been working in financial services for more than 30 years. His retirement workshops have been widely attended by retirees of many major corporations. Tom has hosted the TV series "Senior Money Matters" and has anchored the financial report "Bottom Line" with NBC-TV Northern California affiliate. He has also taught retirement planning courses at local colleges.
Tom believes strongly in the importance of financial education. He believes it is beneficial for each client to have a clear understanding of financial planning tools, goals, objectives and risk tolerance to find the proper balance.
Tom is committed to a coordinated team approach to financial planning that encompasses estate planning, asset preservation, tax liability and risk management. He recognizes the vital role of CPAs and estate planning attorneys. Tom works to keep his clients up-to-date on current retirement planning issues.
Tom and his wife Nancy have seven children and 13 grandchildren. He likes to travel, fish and enjoy his grandchildren in his spare time.
